Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 21, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 21, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") defines conduct that is prohibited on the EvntPro platform and services (the "Service"). It applies to all users of the Service, including account owners, crew members, administrators, subscribers to any EvntPro plan (Solo, Pro, or Agency), and any person accessing the Service under an account. The AUP supplements, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service.

The Service is designed as a professional, business-to-business tool for event professionals, including DJs, audiovisual companies, event planners, florists, staging companies, and similar businesses. The rules set forth in this AUP are intended to protect EvntPro, our users, our users' clients, and the integrity and reliability of the platform.

Violating this AUP is a material breach of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund, as well as other remedies available to EvntPro at law or in equity, including referral to law-enforcement authorities where appropriate. Our decisions under this AUP are made in our reasonable discretion and, where practical, we will attempt to give you notice and an opportunity to cure minor or inadvertent violations before taking account-level action, but we reserve the right to act immediately where we believe doing so is necessary to protect our users, the Service, or third parties.

Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service. This AUP should be read together with the Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use the Service, directly or indirectly, to engage in any of the activities described below.

Illegal activity.

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law, regulation, or order;
  • Engage in fraud, identity theft, phishing, or any form of misrepresentation;
  • Infringe any third party's intellectual-property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and rights of publicity or privacy;
  • Process payments for illegal goods or services, or otherwise use the Service to facilitate illegal transactions.

Platform abuse.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive or extract the source code, underlying ideas, algorithms, or trade secrets of the Service;
  • Access or attempt to access the accounts, data, or workspaces of other users of the Service;
  • Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or similar tools to access, harvest data from, or interact with the Service, except as expressly permitted via our published APIs;
  • Overload, flood, or otherwise attempt to disrupt the infrastructure supporting the Service, including through denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, any network or system we operate, or any security or authentication measure, without our prior written permission;
  • Circumvent, bypass, or attempt to circumvent any security feature, rate limit, access control, or usage restriction of the Service.

Content.

  • Upload, transmit, or store viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, time bombs, cancelbots, or other malicious code or harmful software;
  • Store, display, or transmit content that is obscene, pornographic, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful;
  • Upload, store, or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade-secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.

Misuse of features.

  • Use the email-sending or email-automation features to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or other messages in violation of applicable anti-spam laws (including CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR/PECR);
  • Use the client portal, planning forms, or similar tools to collect information from clients without appropriate notice and consent;
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise provide access to the Service to any third party without our prior written permission;
  • Use the Service as the infrastructure or back-end of a competing product or service;
  • Benchmark, test, or evaluate the Service for the purpose of building a competing product.

Account sharing.

  • Share your login credentials, API keys, or access tokens with any person outside of the intended crew-account system provided by the Service;
  • Create or use multiple free-trial accounts to avoid paying for the Service, evade rate limits, or circumvent account restrictions.

3. Email Sending and Anti-Spam Requirements

EvntPro provides email-automation and transactional-email features that allow you to send messages to your clients and team members through our platform and our email subprocessor, SendGrid (Twilio). Because these features send mail from infrastructure shared with other EvntPro customers, abuse of the email features can harm the deliverability and reputation of every user of the Service. You agree to the following requirements when using any email feature:

  • You will send messages only to recipients who have an existing business relationship with you (for example, clients who have booked, inquired about, or are actively planning an event with you) or who have otherwise provided appropriate consent to receive email from you;
  • You will not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email, marketing blasts to purchased lists, or any messages that would violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, ePrivacy, or any other applicable law;
  • Every commercial message will include accurate sender information, a functioning reply-to address, and an obvious way for the recipient to opt out of further messages;
  • You will honor opt-out requests promptly and will not re-add opted-out recipients without their renewed, affirmative consent;
  • You will not use misleading subject lines, "from" names, headers, or routing information.

EvntPro monitors aggregate deliverability metrics (such as bounce, complaint, and spam-trap rates) and may suspend email privileges for any account whose metrics fall outside of industry-standard thresholds, regardless of intent.

4. Responsibility for Crew Members and Sub-Users

Account owners are responsible for ensuring that any crew member, employee, contractor, sub-user, or other person they invite to their EvntPro workspace complies with this AUP. A violation committed by a crew member or sub-user is treated as a violation by the account owner and may result in enforcement action against the primary account. Account owners are expected to revoke access promptly when a crew member or contractor no longer requires it, and to use the Service's role and permission features appropriately to limit access on a least-privilege basis.

5. Integrations and Third-Party Data

The Service offers integrations with a number of third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Clerk (authentication), SendGrid (email), Amazon Web Services (file storage), Anthropic (AI chat), Google (Maps/Places), and Apple (iTunes music search). When you use these integrations, you agree to comply with the applicable terms of service of those third parties in addition to this AUP. You may not use any integration in a manner that would violate the third-party provider's terms, that would impose unreasonable load on the third-party service, or that is designed to harvest data from the third-party service in bulk.

When using the AI assistant features powered by Anthropic, you are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on or sending it to any client. You may not use the AI assistant to generate content that is deceptive, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of this AUP.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a suspected violation of this AUP, please report it to us promptly at hello@evntpro.io. Include as much detail as you can, such as the relevant account or workspace name, the nature of the suspected violation, dates and times, specific URLs or features involved, and any supporting evidence. We will investigate reports we receive but do not commit to a specific response time or outcome for any particular report. Reports made in bad faith, or with the intent to harass another user or gain a competitive advantage, are themselves a violation of this AUP.

If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, please submit a notice that includes the information required under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to hello@evntpro.io. We will process valid DMCA notices in accordance with applicable law.

7. Enforcement

EvntPro reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate in our sole discretion, including:

  • Issuing a warning;
  • Temporarily or permanently suspending your access to all or part of the Service;
  • Permanently terminating your account, without refund;
  • Removing or disabling offending content or features;
  • Referring the matter to law enforcement or cooperating with lawful investigations.

EvntPro is not obligated to monitor use of the Service, and we do not pre-screen User Data or Client Data, but we may do so at our discretion. Our failure to enforce any provision of this AUP in any particular instance is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

In choosing a response, we may consider factors such as the severity and duration of the violation, whether the violation was inadvertent or willful, whether the user has previously violated this AUP, the impact on other users and on the Service, and any remedial steps the user has taken. Nothing in this AUP limits EvntPro's rights or remedies under the Terms of Service or applicable law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address associated with your account and/or via an in-product notice, and will take effect on the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
