Custom WordPress Admin Dashboard That Clients Actually Like
The default WordPress admin is designed for developers. Your clients aren’t developers. They need a backend that’s intuitive, branded, and stripped of everything they don’t need. EvntPro builds custom admin dashboards that transform the WordPress experience from overwhelming to effortless.
Every dashboard is white-label ready — change the logo, accent color, and support message from a single options page, and the entire admin rebrands. This makes it perfect for agencies running the agency framework who need each client’s backend to feel like their own platform.
What’s Included
- Branded login screen — Dark background (#131313), client logo from options, ghost-style inputs (bottom border only), Space Grotesk typography. No more generic WordPress login.
- Custom dashboard home — Replaces the default WordPress dashboard with a time-based greeting, 6-button quick actions grid, content stats panel (pages, posts, case studies, services), and recent inquiries feed from Contact Form 7.
- Simplified admin menu — Custom “Client” role that shows only what matters: Dashboard, Pages, Case Studies, Services, Locations, Blog, Media, Forms, Settings, Profile. No Appearance, Plugins, Tools, or Users.
- Full dark theme — Complete CSS override of every WordPress admin surface. All dark (#131313 base). All 0px border-radius. Brand typography (Space Grotesk headings, Inter body).
- White-label config — “Dashboard Branding” options page where you control: login logo, admin accent color, support email, support message. Change values and the entire admin rebrands.
The Client Role
We create a custom “Client” WordPress role with carefully scoped permissions:
- Can: Edit all content (pages, posts, case studies, services, locations), upload media, manage contact form entries, update their profile
- Cannot: Access Appearance settings, install/deactivate plugins, access Tools or Settings, manage Users, modify theme files
This prevents accidental damage while giving clients full control over their content. It’s the balance between empowerment and protection.
Quick Actions Grid
The dashboard home features a 6-button grid for the most common tasks:
- Add New Page
- Add New Case Study
- Add New Blog Post
- View Inquiries
- Upload Media
- Edit Profile
Every button uses the brand’s primary color and opens the relevant admin screen. No hunting through menus.
Who This Is For
The custom admin dashboard is included in every event company website and custom theme build. It’s also valuable for agencies using our framework who want to deliver a polished, branded backend to their clients.
